Shot Blasting Rooms
The units are intended for indoor or sheltered areas. If placed outdoors, appropriate covering is necessary. Each unit is fully assembled and inspected at our facility before delivery. We offer comprehensive operator training, which can be conducted at our location or on-site during installation.
The containablast features a modified bulkhead that creates two separate spaces: a blast room and a service room. The self-contained portable blast room is equipped with various tools and only needs compressed air and electrical connections to operate.
Blast Room Facilities
The container features LED lighting and emergency lighting for safety. It has a steel cross screw conveyor at the bulkhead. There are also air inlets incorporated in the build to ensure correct air flow and ventilation for the blast room plus enhance visibility for the operator.
Rooms are fitted as standard with:
- Air extraction
- Polyurethane spray (PU) lining
- LED lighting
- Emergency lighting
- Man access door
- Blast pot isolation valve
Containablast Service Room
Each unit has a purpose-built service room housing:
- Abrasive hopper with screw conveyor
- Bucket elevator
- Abrasive air-wash unit
- Blast machine
- Dust extraction system
- Control equipment

- 6m container providing a 4.4m long x 2.2m wide x 2.3m high blast room. Requires 5kW
- 9m container providing a 6.5m long x 2.2m wide x 2.3m high blast room. Requires 5kW
- 12m container providing a 9.5m long x 2.2m wide x 2.3m high blast room. Requires 7kW
